Description:

CCSI has again partnered with Advocates For Children to host our Advocating For Youth in Schools 3-part Series!

Special Ed 101 serves as the first session in this informative series!

 

This workshop covers the IEP development process, including:

  • Referrals
  • Evaluations
  • The IEP meeting
  • Program and placement options
  • Advocacy tips
  • Due process rights

Don’t forget to register for sessions 2 (School Discipline and Behavior Supports for Students with Disabilities) & 3 (Bullying: How to Identify It and What to Do) on February 11th and March 17th!

Note: Please be sure to arrive on time for the workshop. Anyone arriving 30 minutes after the start time of the workshop will not be allowed to attend the session, so please plan accordingly.
