Citywide Family Advocate Support Meeting

May 15, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The Coordinated Children’s Services Initiative with the support of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Bureau of Children, Youth, and Families, and the participation of the NYC Regional Parent Advisors of Families Together NYS/OMH NYC Field Office, is hosting a support and networking meeting for all Family Peer Advocates who work in New York City.

Family Peer Advocates have ‘lived-experience’ as the parent (biological, foster, adoptive) or primary caregiver of a child/youth with a social, emotional, behavioral, mental health, or developmental disability).  You don’t need to be credentialed or even hold the title as Family Peer Advocate to attend, just that you identify as a Family Peer in your capacity as a human service professional or volunteer.
